BACOLOD City – He was hiding for about four years before police arrested him in Barangay Colonia Divina, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
The 79-year-old resident Antonio Agustin was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 11:30 a.m. on March 2, a police report showed.
Judge Raymond Joseph Javier of the Regional Trial Court Branch 60 in Cadiz City issued the warrant in relation to three counts of sexual abuse Agustin faces.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the Sagay City police station.
The court recommended no bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
