BACOLOD City – Eighteen sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P50,000 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The 37-year-old resident Winchelle Joy Quiatchon yielded the suspected illegal drugs, police said.
Officers of the Talisay City police station staged the entrapment operation that led to the arrest of the suspect around 7:30 p.m. on March 3.
Aside from suspected shabu, a P500 marked money and cash amounting to P720 were also recovered.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the city police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
