BACOLOD City – Four persons were nabbed for illegal fishing in the waters of Barangay Zone 15, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
They were Jay Acha, 42; Joseph Gozales, 54; Ermelito Dela Cruz, 47; and Richard Acha, 36 – all residents of Barangay Banago.
Officers of the city’s Bantay Dagat Task Force caught the suspects on March 5. Their fine mesh nets were seized.
They were placed under the custody of the Talisay City’s Bantay Dagat Task Force. Charges were filed against them./PN
