ILOILO City – A woman was struck by lightning in Baranagy Alimono, Passi City.
The 25-year-old Isabelita Pateño sustained burn injuries, a police report showed.
Pateño was walking along the road when lighting hit her around 3 p.m. on March 8, it added.
She was rushed to the Don Valerio Palmares Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Passi City where the attending physician declared her “dead on arrival.”/PN
