BACOLOD City – A 37-year-old mother and her six-month-old daughter were crushed to death by a 10-wheeler delivery truck at the intersection of Burgos-Circumferential Road along Lopue’s East, Brgy. Villamonte here.
The victims were Ma. Fe Kapasilan Arrosa of Brgy. Amontay, Binalbagan town and her daughter Jelian.
A 12-year-old unnamed niece of Ma. Fe was thrown a few meters away but was unhurt.
The three were about to cross the intersection when they got hit by the truck driven by Rudy Palanog, 36, of Alimodian, Iloilo.
Palanog was on his way to their office. He told the police he failed to spot the victims.
Police said Ma. Fe was on her way to the police station supposedly to complain against her husband, Joebert, 32. They had a fight./PN
