2GO resumes receiving, delivery operations

ILOILO City – The management of 2GO group is informing its key stakeholders, partners and clients that it has resumed its operations on Mar. 19, 2020.

As earlier communicated, the 2GO management and its teams “monitored developments and liaised with relevant authorities,” it said.

“While the situation remains fluid, clearer operating guidelines are becoming available especially for the movement of essential and basic supplies such as food, medicine, medical supplies and other grocery items,” it added.

With these developments, the 2GO management would like to inform the public of the following:

* Logistics Group will resume warehousing operations. Deliveries of essential and basic items will commence on Mar. 19.

* Express group will resume receiving and delivery operations for essential and basic items only starting Mar. 19. Other services for documents and ecommerce will continue to be suspended until further notice.

* ScanAsia will resume deliveries of essential and basic items starting Mar. 19.

* Shipping-Freight will resume full operations for cargoes to and from Manila and Batangas to the VISMIN area and vice versa effective Mar. 19.

* Shipping-LCL/CFS and Express Centers in Manila will resume full operations starting Mar. 19.

* SCVASI will resume full operations in the delivery of essential and basic items effective Mar. 19.

Upon resumption of its operations, the management said prevailing conditions continue to affect its ability to accomplish receiving and delivery functions.

“While we will try our best to perform according to your requirements, there could be delays beyond our control,” the management said.

“We apologize for any inconvenience and we thank you for your patience and continuous support,” it added./PN
