BACOLOD City – A man was stabbed dead in Barangay Nauhang, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
Resident Pacifico Calderon, 45, sustained a stab wound on the back, a police report showed.
Tagged suspect was 39-year-old resident
Arturo Paderes, it added.
According to police investigators, a heated argument ensued between Calderon
and Paderes around 5 p.m. on March 31.
This prompted the latter to stab Calderon using a kitchen knife, police said.
Calderon was rushed to the Merceditas J. Montilla District Hospital in Sipalay City where he later expired.
Paderes, meanwhile, was detained in the custodial facility of the Sipalay City police station./PN
