BACOLOD City – Fourteen sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P6,500 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Batuan, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
The 50-year-old Roderick Montenegro yielded the suspected illegal drugs, police said.
Montenegro – resident of Barangay 3, La Carlota City – was caught after he sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500 around 7:30 p.m. on April 15, the police added.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the La Carlota City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
