DOUBLEDRAGON will continue its efforts to become one of the catalysts of the Balik Probinsya Program of the national government.
“We commend and fully support the Balik Probinsya Program. We are one with the belief that the second and third tier provincial areas of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao need to be further incentivized to become more vibrant significantly in terms of their economy,” said DoubleDragon chairman Edgar “Injap” Sia II.
As a probinsyano himself, Sia said, “I can fully relate to the economic view of President Rodrigo Duterte and Sen. Bong Go. I fully agree with the underlying long-term reason and benefits of the Balik Probinsya Program as a great solution that encompasses beyond the congestion problem in Metro Manila.”
Directed incentives like this from the government will surely create a lasting positive impact to our country, said Sia.
One of DoubleDragon’s pillars is the community center CityMall chain, none of which are in Metro Manila.
All CityMalls are located in the provincial areas of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Innate to the business model of CityMall is that it provides mainly the basic essential needs of the provincial community that it serves.
DoubleDragon also continues to expand its Industrial Warehouse Complex chain CentralHub in various provinces of the country.
The expansion of its Hotel 101 and Jinjiang Inn Phils. chain are also mostly in the provinces.
For several years, DoubleDragon has been active in deploying capital to the countryside and will continue its vision further in parallel with the strategic Balik Probinsya Program of the government./PN
