ILOILO City – Three individuals were arrested for illegal gambling in Barangay San Pedro, San Jose, Antique.
Simon Bariacto, 42, of Baranagay Igsuming, San Jose; Cassmer Rosales, 41; and Ronald Huevarra, 50 – both residents of Barangay San Pedro, were caught playing tong-its around2:10 p.m. on Tuesday, police said.
Recovered from their possession were a deck of playing cards and bet money which amounted to P810.
Detained in custodial facility of the San Jose police station, the suspects face charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602, which prescribes stiffer penalties on illegal gambling./PN
