PRO-6 hires 62 non-uniformed personnel

ILOILO City – Sixty-two non-uniform personnel (NUP) recently took their oath to serve the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6)  

The oath-taking ceremony was administered by Police Brigadier General Rene Pamuspusan, Western Visayas police director, at Camp Delgado here on June 29. 

NUPs are essential in the PRO-6’s delivery of quality service to communities, according to Pamuspusan.

“You have an important participation in the Philippine National Police. You are our partners to achieve our goals and uplift the morale of the police force,” he told the NUPs.

The NUPs will be doing office work mostly. They would be deployed in various police stations.

Pamuspusan said 95 percent of policemen would be doing field work for maximum visibility, thus the need for NUPs for office work.

“We are hiring more civilian employees,” he announced.
