ILOILO City – Pag-IBIG is encouraging its members in the city and province of Iloilo to avail the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus.
Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus will serve not just as benefit card for availment of discount/rewards points but also as disbursement card.
It has an added cash card functionality wherein a short-term loan can directly credit to the Loyalty Card Plus.
According to Mr. Konrad Benjamin Chiongson, head of Member Services Department 1 of Pag-IBIG in Plazuela, Mandurriao district, this Loyalty Card Plus can be used as Identification Card or ATM Card under Asia United Bank (AUB).
He added that it can also function as personal savings account where one can withdraw at various bancnet ATM machines.
Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus has a 10-year validity, he said.
However, Chiongson highlighted, the Loyalty Card Plus’ main feature is that it could serve as discount card to partner-establishments of Pag-IBIG.
“Ang main feature ya sini is discount card sang Pag-IBIG, once you have Loyalty Card Plus we have partner-establishments nga naga-offer sang discount so kon may makita ka diri nga we accept Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus puede ka dira. Then, when you avail any service or purchase sang kon ano man ang product nila you could use the card to get the discount,” Chiongson explained.

Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus can also be used to subscribe or register in Virtual Pag-IBIG.
In order to register, Chiongson said, the member may open www.pagibigfund.gov.ph and click the icon virtual Pag-IBIG then LC Plus button.
If enrolled, the member can access record, make payment online and throw inquiries.
The member can also make a loan via Virtual Pag-IBIG (no face-to-face transaction needed) in filing calamity loan or MPL loan.
“Subong to avail the service of Pag-IBIG puede mo magamit ang Loyalty Card Plus, with the card you could enroll sa virtual PAG-IBIG so very convenient gid sia kay subong may pandemic na kita, puede mo na ma-view ang record, could file a loan through virtual Pag-IBIG,” added Chiongson.
“Tanan nga members gina-encouarage namon nga mag-loyalty card plus kay eventually i-corporate ni sia or it will used nga daw one card system sa Pag-IBIG,” he furthered.
One can avail the Loyalty Card Plus at only P125.
To recall, Pag-IBIG in Plazuela covers the districts of Lapaz, Mandurriao, Jaro, Lapuz and towns from third, fourth and fifth district of Iloilo province.
At least 3,000 employers were registered under Pag-IBIG branch in Plazuela.
The areas of City Proper, Arevalo, Molo, and Southern Iloilo province including Aleosan and Antique province were under Pag-IBIG Molo branch./PN
