ILOILO City – Two persons, including a Finish national, were killed in a road mishap in Barangay Mambatad, Miag-ao, Iloilo.
Martin Millama, 29, of Barangay Palaka, Miag-ao and Jukka Sumali Tolkanen, 42, a native of Finland and temporarily resides in Barangay Igtuba, Miag-ao sustained fatal injuries on the head and body, a police report showed.
The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on July 11.
Millama was onboard a motorcycle when he collided against another motorcycle driven by Tolkanen.
Police said Millama’s motorcycle has no lights and went to the lane of Tolkanen.
Millama was declared “dead on arrival” at the Miag-ao Rural Health Center while the Finnish died while being treated at Guimbal District Hospital./PN
