ILOILO City – Two suspected drug peddlers were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo district.
Six sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P13,000 were seized from residents Jayson Estimar and Jhun Mark Jallorina, a police report showed.
Prior to Estimar and Jallorina’s apprehension, an undercover officer bought from them a sachet of suspected illegal drugs for P3,000 around 2 p.m. on July 21, the report added.
The suspects were detained in the lockup facility of the Arevalo police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
