ILOILO City – A drunk seafarer went berserk yesterday in Barangay Tipakla, Ajuy, Iloilo. Two persons died while another was wounded.
Rolly Herida, 45, and cousin Alberto Herida, 43, succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds at the Sara District Hospital.
The suspect was their relative Romeo Balino Jr., 37.
Primitivo Herida was wounded. He was taken to the Sara District Hospital, too.
The shooting happened at around 12:30 a.m. at Primitivo’s house, according to Police Captain Roy Castro, Ajuy police chief.
A .45 pistol was used.
Prior to the shooting, the four men had a drinking binge at the house of another friend, Lovic Estacion.
There was a heated argument there, said Castro.
The suspect remained at large as this was being written. He fled after the shooting./PN
