ILOILO City –Charged with rape, a man was arrested in Barangay Magsaysay, Patnongon, Antique.
Police identified him as 31-year-old Ramie Espartero, a resident of the village.
Espartero’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant around 9:45 a.m. on Aug. 5, a police report showed.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Patnongon municipal police station.
The court recommended a P200,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
