BACOLOD City – Three suspected drug peddlers were caught in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 1, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Ten sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P61,200 were seized from residents Stephen Gamboa, 40, and Roy Flores, 45, along with Ronald Labrador, 26, of Barangay Patag, Silay City, police said.
Labrador, Gamboa and Flores were arrested after they sold a sachet of suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P4,000 around 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 10, the police added.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Silay City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
