“Championship muna with NLEX bago kasal. Three years na ako sa PBA pero hindi pa ako masyadong nakakalaro. I want to get back on track,” the Ilonggo said during the Aug. 9 Sports Lang podcast hosted by Rodolfo Go Villaruz and Emel Maulas Jr.
He added: “Si Alyssa (Valdez) naman ay mayroon siyang timeline kung hanggang kailan (siya) pwede maglaro. I admit we are talking about it (marriage). Pero sa ngayon ang focus (namin) is on our respective careers.”
Ravena stressed he is positive that NLEX can still be a caliber squad in the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup despite losing John Paul Erram to the TNT KaTropa.
“JP (Erram) is a huge loss for us. But we are using the offseason to prepare in filling that gap. We are confident naman that we have the tools to compete. Lalaban pa din kami,” Ravena said.

The 25th edition of the Philippine University Games (Unigames) scheduled from Oct. 23 to Oct. 30 in Bacolod City was cancelled due to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak.
“Please be informed that due to COVID-19 outbreak that wrought widespread damage to economy nationwide, the 2020 Unigames is hereby cancelled,” Unigames president Roger Banzuela said in a statement.
The Unigames – founded in 1996 – was first held at the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City.
Athletics, badminton, basketball, football, chess, karatedo, lawn tennis, sepak takraw, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, beach volleyball, and archery are among the events of the competition./PN
