ILOILO City – Police nabbed a woman facing estafa charges in Barangay Cansilayan, Buenavista, Guimaras.
The 51-year-old Ma. Gelenda Mapiga was caught around 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 13, a police report showed.
Mapiga’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Jeeli Espinosa of the 2nd Municipal Circuit Trial Court.
The suspect was taken to the Buenavista police station.
The court recommended an P18,000 bail bond for her temporary liberty./PN
