MANILA – The tale of two Negrense volleyballers bannering the flag of Far Eastern University (FEU) ended.
Bacolodnon Ranz Wesley Cajolo will play college ball for the University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons while the Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental-native Benny Martinez decided to retain his allegiance to the school.
“UP has been my dream school ever since. Great environment means better performance,” the six-foot-two Cajolo said in an interview with Rising Volley PH.
Cajolo, who is the reigning University Athletic Association of the Philippines boys’ volleyball Most Valuable Player and best opposite spiker awardee, is set to reunite with his former FEU Baby Tamaraw teammates John Lomibao and Angelo Lipata in UP./PN
