ILOILO City – Police Colonel Julio Gustilo Jr., director of the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO), tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
“Sa akon mga pinalangga nga mga taga Capiz, sa akon pamilya kag kaupdanan sa CPPO, akon gina-deklarar sa sini nga tinion na ako nangin positive for COVID-19,” Gustilo announced on his Facebook post yesterday, Aug. 27, adding that he received his swab result for the virus Wednesday evening.
He urged those who came into physical contact with him since last week to also submit themselves to strict quarantine.
As one of the highest ranking police officials in Capiz, it could not be avoided that I need to physically go out to check the situation of the province, he said.
“Indi ko matumod kung sa diin ko ini nakuha (ang COVID-19) tungod wala man ako sang sintomas nga nabatyagan nga nagapatimaan sang sakit. Gani kung mahimo, aton sundon ang tanan nga panugyan sg gobyerno sa aton,” Gustiloadded.
He assured the people that he is still doing his work as the top cop of Capiz.
Sa aton nga mga kaupdanan, indi kita mag-untat sa pagserbisyo nga may malipayon nga taghipusuon sa tanan nga pumuluyo. Madamo gid nga salamat kag kabay pa nga ubayan kita sang aton MAHAL NGA MAKAAKO. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME,” Gustilo added.
