ILOILO City – He was found dead hanging inside their house in Barangay Poblacion, New Washington, Aklan.
The 20-year-old Velmon Jay Amante was believed to have committed suicide, a police report showed.
Amante’s lifeless body was discovered by her grandmother Vilma, 59, around 12 p.m. on Aug. 27, it added.
Responding police officers did not find any wounds on Velmon Jay’s body suggestive of murder.
Officers of the New Washington municipal police station ruled out foul play in the incident./PN
