BACOLOD City – Two persons were caught allegedly engaging in illegal cockfighting in Barangay Tabugon, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 31-year-old Steve Dioneo and 58-year-old Roque Castillo were taken to the Kabankalan City police station on Sept. 6.
Recovered from the suspects were P500 bet money and three game fowls.
They face charges for violation of Presidential Decree 449 (Cockfighting Law of 1974)./PN
