BACOLOD City – A resident of Barangay Tabaao in Sagay City, Negros Occidental was found dead.
The 56-year-old Lorene Katalbas Burgas was believed to have drowned inside a deep well around 10 a.m. on Sept. 14, police said.
According to police investigators, the victim attended a birthday party of his cousin and was seen joining in a drinking session.
Hours later, Lorene’s son Renz discovered his father floating lifeless inside a deep well.
The victim’s body was brought to a local mortuary for a “post-mortem” examination.
Officers of the Sagay City police station have yet to rule out foul play in the incident./PN
