MANILA – Taekwondo jins from the A. Diasnes Taekwondo Gym showed their wares during the recent 2020 Online National News Face of the Year Taekwondo Poomsae Championships.
The Iloilo City-based taekwondo stable had a great showing in the virtual poomsae competition as they bagged a total of 10 medals – seven silvers and three bronzes.
Alfie Diasnes captured a silver in blackbelt seniors men; also a silver for Seth Ryan Templanza in blackbelt cadet male while Oscar Damasco also came up with another in brownbelt toddler boys.
Diana Ashley Dello captured a silver in the brownbelt cadet female while Ryza Orocio also ended up with silver in red belt junior women. Charnice Margaret Jaruda also snagged silver in bluebelt cadet female.
Marcus Angelo Murcia, meanwhile, settled for a silver medal finish in the bluebelt junior male category while Donald Infante captured a silver medal in the yellowbelt senior men.
Capturing bronze medal in the competition were Elisha Venice Aguilar in the blackbelt juniors women, Jesseray Lucas Frantilla in blackbelt juniors male and Francesca Caeli Agulto in red belt junior women./PN
