ILOILO City – For possessing an unlicensed firearm, a man was nabbed in Barangay Pamuringao Proper, Cabatuan, Iloilo.
The 24-year-old Denmark Boteja was a resident of Barangay Morobuan, Cabatuan.
According to Police Major Niño Leonard Amar, they initially chanced upon the suspect engaging in illegal gambling.
Boteja yielded a .357-calliber revolver loaded with four live bullets during his arrest around 10:40 p.m. on Oct. 1, said Amar.
Policemen confiscated the weapon after Boteja failed to present a license.
The suspect was detained in lockup cell of the Cabatuan police station, facing charges./PN
