I find it quite hilarious for party-list representative Sharon Garin to say she lost her committee chair because she was “politicized”. Of course she was. Hello? She’s a politician holding a political position, does she expect to be evangelized? Perhaps canonized?
She is what she is because of politics. As long as you’re a politician, anything you do in public is always about politics.

Talking about irony, this has got to be the most ironic reversal of fortune. Remember the 30,000 illegal electrical connections a.k.a. “jumpers” that were discovered in a study done by the Meralco Industrial Engineering Services Corp. It is common knowledge in the industry that the mother company of MIESCOR which is Meralco has substantial shares in PECO. Now, after that reversal of fortune PECO found themselves in the dustbin of forgotten memories, we find this scenario:

It just goes to show that in business, there is no place for losers and nobody in his right mind will want to deal with the losing side no matter how they stretch the “victim card”.

It is only in these islands where being third runner up or among the 10 semifinalists in the Miss Universe is already considered a victory which is pathetic because after the winner is crowned who remembers the losers?
And speaking of beauty contests, what those choreographed photo-ops of public school teachers on top of the roof in the midday sun seemingly searching for WIFI signals while their routers/modems were not even plugged only achieved was making fools of themselves.
Likewise for another schoolteacher who staged photos of himself braving the river’s raging waters just to bring learning modules to his pupils’ he could have made it a bit more realistic by covering the paper learning modules in some waterproof materials i.e. plastic. It also showed what kind of a stupid attention-seeker he is when he could have just taken a banca; that way he bring more learning modules safely.
The things these people do just bring attention to themselves. It is not really about their concern regarding the schoolchildren’s obstacles and difficulties adjusting to the current situation brought by the COVID-19 pandemic which greatly affects our way of life, but themselves making it on the six o’clock news and going viral on social media. Or worst, they just want to make the Department of Education and the government look bad for their handler’s ulterior motives.
