FORMER child star Zaijan Jaranilla opened up about his relationship with his non-showbiz girlfriend when he appeared on “Magandang Buhay” on Tuesday.
Zaijan, now 19, admitted that he has been feeling more inspired since he started seeing his girlfriend more than a year ago.
“Sobra po (siyang inspirasyon). Nakakatulong po siya sa akin. Parang mas inspired ako sa pang-araw-araw. Kapag gumigising ako tapos alam ko na may nagmamahal sa akin, tapos may naghihintay sa akin,” he added.
Zaijan, who rose to fame after playing Santino in the 2009 series “May Bukas Pa,” first admitted that he is in a relationship during an interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” last January.
Zaijan appeared on “Magandang Buhay” to promote his upcoming film “Boyette (Not A Girl, Yet),” where he will play a gay character for the first time.
Of his experience playing a gay role, the actor said: “Sa una hindi madali kasi lalaki po ako, tapos gaganap akong bading. So medyo ang lalim po nang pinaghugutan ko.”
“Pero tinutulungan ako ng mga direktor ko. At ‘yung set po namin halos puro gays po. So sinasabi nila na, ‘Oy medyo lalaki ka sa ganitong galaw, gawin mo ito.’ Parang binibigyan nila ako ng tips,” he added.
Zaijan will be joined by Iñigo Pascual, Jairus Aquino and Dominic Ochoa in the coming-of-age film directed by Jumbo Albano.(Push)
