BACOLOD City – Jerick Lacuarta will have to shell out more than a hundred thousand pesos to be temporarily spared from detention.
Lacuarta was arrested in his house in Barangay Ma-ao, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
He was charged with “sexual abuse in relation to Republic Act 7610,” or the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, a police report showed.
Officers served him a warrant of arrest around 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 15 and detained him in the custodial facility of the Bago City police station.
The court set the bail bond for his temporary liberty at P180,000./PN
