BACOLOD City – Police nabbed a drug suspect at a police checkpoint in Barangay Rizal, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
He was Edward Bren Beatingo of Barangay Rafaela Barrera, Sagay City, a police report showed.
Beatingo was onboard a motorcycle when police flagged him in the afternoon of Oct. 19.
When frisked, he yielded a sachet of suspected shabu.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Sagay City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
