BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The 51-year-old Marilou Eslabon and 36-year-old Alfredo Rombo were residents of the said village, a police report showed.
They sold shabu to an undercover officer for P3,000 around 1:45 p.m. on Oct. 21.
Recovered from their possession were seven grams of suspected shabu valued at around P47,600, P2,500 cash and drug paraphernalia.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Silay City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
