BACOLOD City – Police nabbed four men engaging in alleged illegal cockfighting in Barangay Asia, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental.
William Virgino, 55; Romeo Daquit, 64; Salvador Amar, 60; and Joseph Pasague, 38, were all residents of the said village.
They were caught around 3:30 p.m. on Oct.31 when police officers chanced upon them.
Recovered from the suspects’ possession were six game fowls, a gaff and P500 bet money.
The four were detained in the lockup cell of the Hinoba-an municipal police station, facing charges./PN
