BACOLOD City – Police arrested a 31-year-old man in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Talacagay, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental.
Teodorico Gumban was a resident of Sitio Dalagumay in Barangay Talacagay, police said.
He allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer for P500 around 12 p.m. on Nov. 9.
Recovered from Gumban were five sachets of the prohibited substance valued at around P7,480 and drug paraphernalia. His motorcycle was also impounded.
Gumban was detained in the lockup cell of the Hinoba-an police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
