KALIBO, Aklan – A senior citizen died in a road accident in Barangay Aranas, Balete, Aklan.
The victim was 62-year-old resident Nido Rustro, a police report showed.
Rustro was walking along the road after buying breakfast when he got hit by a truck driven by 47-year-old Jelson Palco of Barangay Tanza, Roxas City around 9:25 a.m. on Nov. 21.
Rustro was rushed to a private hospital in Kalibo, Aklan where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Palco, meanwhile, was brought to the Balete municipal police station./PN
