ILOILO City – Three persons were arrested for alleged illegal fishing yesterday in Tago Island, Barangay Poblacion, Concepcion, Iloilo.
They were Julie Mar Belarga, Niel john Arceo and Brian Dignadice – all residents Barangay Siempreviva, San Dionisio, Iloilo.
Policemen and Bantay Dagat members caught the suspects around at 5:30 a.m.
The three were taken to the Concepcion police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 8550, or the Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998./PN
