SAN JOSE, Antique – The lifeless 66-year-old Victorino Sara of Sitio Patlao, Barangay Calacja 2, Hamtic, Antique was found by fishermen floating in the waters of Barangay Pedro here on Saturday morning.
Sara was reported missing on Dec. 2. He was swept away by rushing waters while crossing the river in Barangay Calacja 2.
A search and rescue operation was launched but proved futile.
Fishermen found Sara around 6 a.m. on Dec. 5.
Sara’s immediate family confirmed his identity.
The cadaver was brought to a funeral parlor in Sibalom town./PN
