ROXAS City – Personnel of the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) took drug tests over the weekend.
So far, 600 cops or 70 percent of the province’s total 1,036 police force tested negative for illegal drugs.
According to Colonel Julio Gustilo Jr., Capiz police director, the test was a way of “cleansing” the CPPO of scalawags.
Gustilo took the drug test, too.
“Aton gid siguraduhon nga ang aton mga operatiba nga nagapatigayon sang anti-illegal drug operations, sila mismo credible magpanakop,” said Gustilo.
The CPPO received reports that a police officer was using illegal drugs.
Gustilo is hopeful that all results of the random drug test would be negative just like last year./PN
