ILOILO City – Police arrested a man for allegedly stealing a cellphone on Lopez Jaena Street, Barangay 31.
Freddie Lavega of Barangay Handumanan was caught around 10 a.m. on Jan. 3, a police report showed.
Lavega’s arrest came after Tangerene Pamplona, 24, reported to the police that her phone was stolen.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 6, facing charges./PN
