ILOILO City – A suspected drug pusher was apprehended in Barangay Bantud Pabrica, Dumangas, Iloilo.
He was 28-year-old Jhon Louie Abellar of Barangay Ginhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Prior to his arrest, the suspect allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer for P1,000.
Fourteen more sachets of the prohibited substance valued at around P15,000 were recovered during Abellar’s arrest around 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 5, police said.
Abellar was detained in the lockup cell of the Dumangas police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him./PN
