BACOLOD City – In a hospital was where a resident of Barangay 2 landed after he got shot.
The 24-year-old Ace Veñegas was recuperating at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital. He sustained a gunshot wound on the left arm, police said.
According to police investigators, Veñegas was drinking coffee just outside his house when shot with an improvised gun on Jan. 9.
Neighbor Joemarie Tabajunda had been tagged a suspect. He was arrested.
Old grudge was believed to be the motive in the shooting.
Officers of Police Station 2 took Tabujanda in custody for filing of appropriate charges./PN
