All roads lead closer to home as the City of Love celebrates Dinagyang 2021, with events prepared to ensure strict protocols and complete experience in one destination—SM City Iloilo.
The ILOILO 2021 DINAGYANG MARKET MARKET! officially opened last January 18, with no less than Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas leading the guests of the fair, featuring the widest selections from handmade goods to farm-fresh produce that will be up until January 24 at the Main Mall Event Center. The fair is also a way to strengthen the promotion of homegrown merchandises as well as to showcase the best of Iloilo. Organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry- Iloilo Chapter(PCCI-Iloilo) which aims to support local businesses, especially the MSMEs in these challenging times.
The event was organized following the huge success of last year’s Iloilo Market Market 2020 at Southpoint, made possible by the Iloilo City Government and Iloilo Festivals Foundation Inc., with the support of the Iloilo Provincial Government, Department of Agriculture, Department of Trade and Industry and Department of Tourism
The DINAGYANG FESTIVAL COSTUMES EXHIBIT, which reflects the colorful heritage and energy of the Ilonggos despite the pandemic, is up at the Northpoint near Ace Hardware for shoppers to enjoy. Mallgoers can snap a selfie at the display on Jan 18-24 of colorful festival costumes and upload in the official SM Facebook Ad and get a chance to win exciting prizes!
Savor Iloilo with the 2nd Batchoy Festival, happening on January 22-24. Iloilo’s popular Batchoy brands as well as favorite Ilonggo delicacies will be will be a one-stop gastronomic treat at the Main Mall.
Plantitos and Plantitas can explore the biggest exhibition of all things essential for the plant enthusiasts in the AweSM ILOILO PLANT FESTIVAL from Jan. 18 -24 at the lower ground floors in front of Toby’s at the Main Mall.
