BACOLOD City – For alleged illegal gambling, three men were apprehended in Barangay Enclaro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
Police identified them as Edgar Librado, 36; Frederick Salde, 29; and Jezar Gilbogan, 45 – all residents of Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
While conducting patrol in the town’s coastal area, policemen of Binalbagan chanced upon the suspects around 9 a.m. on Jan. 26.
Their fish catch, fishing nets and trawling boards were confiscated, police said.
The suspects were detained in the municipal police station, facing charges./PN
