ILOILO City – Eight men were arrested for an unauthorized sale of petroleum products in the villages of Lonoy and Calapdan in Estancia, Iloilo.
Tagged suspects were Elna Bagatnan, 60; Rodelyn Motero, 44; Michel Martinez, 43; Jimboy Amistoso, 29; Joy Alleno, 61; Myla Detalogus, 35; Michelle Mayordomo, 31, all residents of Barangay Lonoy; and Julius Jarder, 22, of the town’s Barangay Bulaqueña.
Fifteen liters of petroleum products were recovered from them around 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 5, police said.
The suspects were detained in the custodial facility of the Estancia police station, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1865, which prohibits illegal trading of petroleum products./PN
