Man shoots, stabs ‘meddling’ father-in-law

SAN JOSE, Antique – He had enough, according to a man who shot and stabbed his wife’s father in Purok 4, Barangay Badiang on Friday.

The 31-year-old Norman Iman told the police he got tired of his father-in-law’s incessant threats and bad-mouthing.

Leonardo Joseco was 56. He died around 8:15 a.m.

According to Iman, he also had enough of Joseco’s meddling with their married life.

He used a homemade shotgun on Joseco. He shot him first on the chest then stabbed him.

Iman’s wife Nathalia also sustained a stab wound on her right arm for trying to stop her husband from killing her father.

Iman left their house after the shooting and stabbing. He was arrested by policemen in Barangay Catmon, Sibalom.

The suspect was detained at the San Jose police station./PN
