BACOLOD City – A man was shot to death by unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen in Barangay Lemery, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
The 28-year-old resident Dindo Villacorte sustained multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
According to the police, Villacorte was in front of a vulcanizing shop when attacked around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
He was rushed to the Calatrava District Hospital but was later transferred to the San Carlos City Hospital where he was declared “dead on arrival.”
Police recovered six spent shells and one deformed slug of a .45-caliber pistol.
As of this writing, policemen of Calatrava were still clueless of the suspects’ identity. Investigation was ongoing./PN
