BACOLOD City – Five drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 19-A, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
They were John William Higino, 30; Sherwin Higino, 32; Ariel Hechanova, 44; Jeffred Cañete, 35; and Rajjhel Huenda, 28.
They allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover officer for P500.
Seventeen more sachets valued at P8,800 were recovered from their possession around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 22.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Victorias City police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
