ILOILO City – The Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) arrested 67 wanted persons in a week of operations.
From Feb. 22 to 27, out of the total arrested individuals, six belonged to the Top 10 most wanted persons list in their respective areas, IPPO records showed.
Meanwhile, in the campaign against loose firearms and ammunitions, 46 guns were voluntarily surrendered to various police stations and five explosives were seized.
According to Police Colonel Gilbert Gorero, IPPO director, these accomplishments were “products of the efforts” of his police chiefs.
“We will continue to conduct our operations against all forms of illegal activities. As much as possible we have to get the most wanted or in the Top 10 level,” Gorero said./PN
