ROXAS City – After surging to almost 20 cases in recent weeks, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases here plummeted to just two as of March 15.
Over the weekend, 10 cases recovered.
Despite this, Mayor Ronnie Dadivas appealed to all city residents not to be complacent and continue observing health protocols – wearing of facemask and face shield, physical distancing and washing of hands properly.
A total of 665 cases have so far recovered here while the death toll is at 39 out of 706 cumulative cases since March 2020./PN
