The Manila Golf Club in Forbes Park today advised its members that it will be closed until further notice starting tomorrow.
Inquirer Golf sources said that the decision was made by the board of directors in a meeting held this evening after getting wind of the COVID-19 test results of its food and beverage concessionaire Via Mare.
According to the sources, 8 out of 20 waiters were found positive for the coronavirus.
Club management immediately went on contact tracing and as many as 300 people will reportedly be tested on Saturday that will determine the course of action to be undertaken by the club.
