Alvin Sarmiento, 33, was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant in Barangay Navais, Mandurriao district.
Sarmiento is facing arson charges, a police report showed.
He was taken to the Mandurriao police station around 8 p.m. on March 25.
A P72,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
